This is our new forum. Its' just for us. Please poke around newsvine.com. I made this one of the homepages. I have a nice business quality machine that handles this forum just fine. If you are having problems, read through this and then contact me.
Most of you responded in a manner that made me believe that you've been to a chat room before. So I have expectations that some of you will just run right through this. I honestly, only started blogging 2 months ago. This seems easy enough and secure.
Above is the the conversation tracker. It shows you comments you're participating in. The white bar gets you out of this lobby and into those lobbies. The black bar is the one you will use to write an article if there is a topic you want to share based upon the lobby you are in at the time.
It's easy to get back in here. You can set this page as a homepage: http://csamen.newsvine.com Or, in the black bar, click Groups.
Understand terms. Google them. Post and track are important. If you want to say something, here it is called a posting. Members have access to your post. Track is when you are following a story and the tracker will show you the articles you are tracking.
Until we earn enough confidence from MSNBC, we cannot post pictures for our articles nor can we insert links to other pages. Please consider emailing this information or include a way to reference a certain site.
More or less, this is a discussion board. One just for us. I am grateful that you are here and hope to be part of a larger discussion.
I encourage you to think of something related to our mission statement, a current project you have committed to give aid to or show your personality and comment on articles you found on your own. Since this is a private forum your freedoms are expanded.
Don't be shy. Write something and publish it.
P.S. I was asked to place the Men's Ministry's Mission Statement here:
The Men's Ministry of CSA's Mission Statement:
The Mens's Minsitry of the Center for Spititual Awareness (CSA) is established to:
- encourage and support the men of SCA as they explore and develop their own paths to God;
- promote, encourage, and support the participation of men in all facets of CSA; and
- support CSA in whatever ways we are needed to insure that CSA remains "...the church that love is building in West Sacramento."
